What is SmartAgent?
SmartAgent is an online booking tool for air ticket consolidators and their subagents. It is built and supported by CEE Travel Systems, the Travelport distributor for Central and Eastern Europe. Subagents book, issue, exchange and refund tickets themselves, and every transaction is charged to their prepaid SmartAgent wallet.
Which flights can subagents book in SmartAgent?
Travelport+ GDS fares, NDC offers through Travelport TripServices, and low-cost carriers through Travelfusion. GDS is included from the start; NDC and low-cost content are activated for each consolidator on request. NDC offers run under the same PCC as the GDS bookings and appear in the same search results, with a filter for NDC-only results.
Who is SmartAgent for?
Consolidators working on Travelport that sell air tickets through a network of subagent travel agencies and want to give those agencies online booking under the consolidator's own rules.
How does a consolidator control subagents in SmartAgent?
The consolidator sees all subagent activity in real time, tops up subagent wallets and tracks every transaction from one place. It sets its own commissions and fees on ticketing, refunds and other transactions, and can create a new subagent profile that works from the first login.
Can subagents sell ancillaries?
Yes. Subagents can buy prepaid baggage and equipment in SmartAgent, the EMDs are issued automatically and the charge goes to the subagent's wallet.
How is ticketing secured?
Before a subagent's first ticketing action, SmartAgent verifies the device or location. The check repeats only when unrecognised activity is detected.
Can experienced agents still use cryptic entries?
Yes. SmartAgent has a terminal window for cryptic entries, and changes made there sync with the booking in SmartAgent in real time.
How much does SmartAgent cost?
A one-time activation fee of USD 1,500 and USD 490 per month, with no transaction or PNR fees up to 10,000 productive transactions or 6,000 PNRs a year, and no limit on consolidator and subagent PCCs. Activating a subagent costs USD 11, or the consolidator activates subagents itself at no cost. A one-month free trial is available.
